Hi there! I’m in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I’m considering getting the full bundle, but I’m concerned that the extreme heat, which has been consistently above 100 degrees, might cause everything to melt and become a mess. The bar and deodorant, in particular, are at risk. Do you suggest that I wait until fall to purchase the bundle, or do you think everything will be fine?

Hi! That’s a great question, especially with the New Mexico heat! Since our products are made with natural Wagyu tallow and minimal ingredients, they can definitely soften or melt if they’re exposed to 100°+ temperatures for an extended period during shipping. I do take extra precautions with warm-weather orders, but I can’t guarantee that everything will arrive completely solid in extreme heat. The good news is that melting typically doesn’t hurt the product—it may just temporarily change the texture. The deodorant and Fatty are formulated with beeswax, which helps them hold their shape better than pure tallow products and I have had no issues with soap bars melting in heat. The balm and lotion are the most sensitive but can be restored! If you order the full bundle, I’d be happy to package it with the heat in mind and ship it early in the week to minimize transit time. I don’t think you necessarily need to wait until fall, but I always want to be upfront about the possibility of some softening during extreme summer temperatures.
